Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our service operations, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by J & R LANDIS ENTERPRISES, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a limited liability company with its principal place of business at 4 Dalley Rd, Riverton, WY 82501-9472, United States. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy applies to https://plrdirect.com and to the personal information we handle when you request a quote, book a service visit, or otherwise contact us. It does not apply to third-party websites we may link to.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name, email address, telephone number and, where you supply it, the service address at which work is to be carried out.
  • Request details — the service you selected, any description you provide of the system or the problem, and scheduling preferences.
  • Consent records — the fact, date and time that you ticked the contact-consent box on our form, retained so we can evidence your permission.
  • Correspondence — messages, emails and call notes exchanged with our dispatch team.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen size, referring page and the time of your visit.
  • Usage data — which pages you viewed, how you reached them and which services you looked at. Where this is collected by analytics or advertising cookies, it happens only after you have given consent in our cookie banner.

2.3 Information from other sources

If you contact us through a third-party listing or advertising platform (for example a search engine's local listing or a review site), that platform may pass us the contact details you entered there. We handle that information under this policy from the moment we receive it.

2.4 Information we do not want

Please do not send us sensitive categories of information — such as health data, government identification numbers or payment card numbers — through the website form. We do not need it to quote for a service, and the form is not designed to receive it.

3. Why we use your information

  • To respond to your request — to prepare an estimate, confirm scheduling and carry out the work you asked for. Without this information we cannot provide the service.
  • To communicate with you — appointment confirmations, technician arrival notices, follow-up on completed work and service reminders.
  • To keep records — service history, invoices, warranty documentation and the written reports we issue after a cleaning.
  • To improve the website and our service — understanding which services people look for and where our pages are unclear.
  • To measure our advertising — where you have consented to marketing cookies, to understand which campaigns produce enquiries.
  • To meet legal obligations — tax and accounting records, insurance requirements and responding to lawful requests.
  • To protect our business — preventing fraudulent or abusive form submissions and securing our systems.

4. Calls, texts and email — your consent

When you tick the consent box on our request form you agree that we may contact you by telephone, SMS text message and email about the request you submitted. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect our ability to contact you about a job already in progress.

We do not sell or share your telephone number with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not send automated marketing texts to numbers that have not opted in.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies — which keep your session alive and protect the contact form against abuse — are always active, because the site cannot function without them. Analytics and marketing cookies run only if you enable them in our cookie banner.

Where advertising tools such as Google Ads and Google Analytics are in use, we operate them in consent mode: no analytics or advertising identifiers are set until you allow them. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in our footer. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Our technicians and dispatch staff — so the right crew reaches the right address with the right equipment.
  • Service providers acting on our instructions — website hosting, email delivery, scheduling and invoicing software, and analytics providers. They may process your information only for us, and may not use it for their own purposes.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms — only where you have consented to those cookies, and only in the form those platforms collect it.
  • Professional advisers and insurers — accountants, lawyers and our liability insurer, where genuinely necessary.
  • Authorities — where we are required by law, court order or a valid legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
  • A successor business — if our business or its assets are sold or reorganised, your information may transfer with it. We will tell you if that happens and your rights will continue to apply.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become jobs — up to 24 months, so we can recognise you if you return.
  • Customer and service records — for the life of the customer relationship and then for as long as tax, accounting and warranty obligations require, typically seven years.
  • Consent records — for at least four years after consent is withdrawn, so we can evidence that permission existed.
  • Website analytics — in aggregated or de-identified form, typically no more than 26 months.

When a retention period ends, we delete the information or de-identify it so it can no longer be linked to you.

8. How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, restrict access to customer records to staff who need it to do their job, keep our software patched, and apply anti-spam and rate-limiting controls to our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these measures seriously and review them regularly.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Know and access — ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Correct — ask us to fix information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete — ask us to erase information we no longer need to keep.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will post a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link before doing so.
  • Limit use of sensitive information — we do not collect sensitive personal information for the purposes that trigger this right.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
  • Appeal — if we refuse a request, you may ask us to reconsider, and we will respond with our reasoning.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] or call +1 (380) 213-5043. We will verify your identity — usually by confirming details you already gave us — and respond within 45 days, extending once where a request is complex. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.

10. Children

Our services are sold to adults. This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Do Not Track

Browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal, but there is no agreed industry standard for responding to it. We do not respond to those signals; instead, we give you a direct choice over analytics and marketing cookies through our banner, which applies regardless of your browser setting.

12. Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites, including map providers, review platforms and social networks. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.

13. Where information is processed

We operate in the United States and our service providers process information here. If a provider processes information outside the United States, we require appropriate contractual safeguards.

14. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. If we make a significant change, we will post a prominent notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Contact us about this document
